End of April, 75 years ago. As WW2 dragged itself towards its final months, Italy was freed from the fascist domination. Countless partisans died fighting for their freedom, in forests and on mountain tops, where only flowers now stand witness to their courage. Today, Bella Ciao is the symbol of this struggle and we thought to do a tribute to it on the 1st of May.

75年前の4月末、第二次世界大戦の最後の年、イタリアを支配してたファシスト党が崩壊した。森や山の中で自由のために戦い、命を落とした多くのパルチザン達（労働者・農民・住民が立ち上がり組織された非正規軍）の勇気の証は、戦場に咲く花として残されていた。今ではあの時のつらさを物語る象徴となっているこの歌を、トリビュートしようと思った。
